Saturday is mostly spent travelling, so we arrive in Montreal to a rather cold, wet and dark evening. We arrive at the hotel around 21:30 and don’t see much of Montreal on the way. The only hints that we are somewhere different is the presence of French on road signs and the airport. We note that we should try to remember our GCSE French.
