2 years, 1 month and 22 days ago we left America after our 2 weeks travelling the ‘Mother Road’.

Leaving behind the sunny beach of Santa Monica was a sad end to an amazing road trip. On that day we vowed to return as soon as possible.

In 13 days we will land in LAX to start a new adventure. This time travelling the West Coast of the USA.

Beginning our trip from were we left last time, Santa Monica, where will will revisit our old friend, Santa Monica beach and pier. We also will be be ticking off a visit to Universal Studios which we regret missing last time.

After that we head along the California coast and the ‘Big Sur’. Stopping to rest our heads in the towns of ‘Cambria’ and ‘Carmel By The Sea’.

Following that will be 3 days in San  Francisco, seeing the great sites this city has to offer, like the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz, and seeing what all the fuss is about with their Sour Dough bread.

Assuming I’ve not been offered a job at Pied Piper or locked in a cell in Alcatraz, we will then head to one of Americas most famous national parks, Yosemite.

2 days of natural wonder will give way to 8 hours desert driving and the man made wonder of Las Vegas. Where we will celebrate the end of our adventure, along with my Sister and Brother in-law as they celebrate their 40th birthdays. They’ve also convinced my Mum and Auntie to join them, so its set to be a memorable end to the trip.

As seasoned Vegas vets, with 2  previous trips under our belts. We are looking forward to experiencing it with others. I’m sure it still has many suprises for us.
