We take a well earned rest for everyone’s first full day in Vegas and spend a morning baking in the Sun, pool (and pyramid) side.

Lunch is served in style at Hooters. Where we devour 50 chicken wings, well most of them, some got boxed for a much needed late night snack later.

A glizty Vegas style show follows, down at the Wynn. Showtunes from all the ages are performed with a live orchestra.

We end the night back at the Luxor. A run of exceptional luck on cat based slots for Julie leaves us in high spirits, as we head for LAX nightclub, which Vic has managed to get us on the guestlist.

We go straight past the queue and are quickly ushered into the mysteriously dark entrance.

Bright lights, heavy bass and dancing hip hop girls (The LAX Fly Girls) are soon filling the senses and we spend a couple of hours experiencing a Vegas club for the first time.

To be honest, we had originally thought  Throw back Thursdays might be playing more pop hits of the 80s 90s and 00s, as good as the DJ and dancers were, we struggled to regonise a lot of the songs. 

But we did get showered with dollar bills at one point, and with free entry and free drinks for the girls, you don’t get better value!

We take a rather tipsy Julie for a late night fries, and burgers for me and Lee. 

Its now the morning after and Julie has not made it to the pool or the lunch buffet. Hopefully we will see her again!
