After a long day travelling yesterday and an early night following a quick bite to eat at five guys saw us wake nice and refreshed to greet a grey rainy Sunday in Boston. Not letting the rain dampen our spirits we grab a hotel umbrella and head out.

Our 1st stop breakfast at Thorntons, a traditional American style breakfast. Chris opts for Haveneros Ranchos I go for ameretto french toast with a side of fruit for good measure.

We start to walk eventually ending up a Boston common. Ahead of us hear a band playing and follow the sound finding found ourselves amongst many tiny people dressed as ducklings for the parks duckling parade.

A quick walk around..and managing to grab ourselves some freebies from the capital one stand.including a welcomed rain Poncho we head off towards the frog pond.

Wanting to take a break from the rain we head to the bar where everybody knows your name…the original Cheers bar.

A few beers, a burger and chicken wings later we head back out. The rain is getting harder now so we make a plan to head back towards the hotel via the esplanade and Prudential centre. Where we make plans on how to spend the evening…..
