This ain’t my first Rodeo!…well actually it is!

Today we travelled from Amarillo to Santa Fe  via a pre-1937 route 66. Our journey started at the famous Cadillac Ranch.   This art consists of 10 cars planted nose down in the soil.  It was pretty muddy but we managed to make our mark Our next stop was Adrian the mid point of route 66.  We stopped and had our breakfast at the Midpoint cafe and also took some pie for the road.   We  said fairwell to Texas…

This is the way to Amarillo

After the night hugging pillows in Oklahoma City, we were on our way to Amarillo. Leaving behind a stormy city..which was needed after the 30°c nights. On route we stopped at 2 Route 66 museums for a bit of a history lesson on Route 66.
