‘Gallup’ing through New Mexico

‘Gallup’ing through New Mexico

After a few long days travelling we today set off to Gallup with a few less stops along the way.

A large part of the day was spent visiting the Breaking Bad sights of Albuquerque, which won’t mean much to you if you haven’t seen the show! But here we go…

On route through, New Mexico is host to some of the most scenic views of the trip. Difficult to do justice, but here’s our latest macot (handmade in Santa Fe) enjoying the view.

We stop the night at the historic El RanchoHotel, which hosted many movie stars during the Western era.

Dinner is served at Gallup’s No 1 spot ‘Badlands Grill’. Home to the Scorpion Burger ( still not sure if that’s the animal or the chilli..) We opt for the Big Daddy burger

  1. You look to be having a great time, we thought about the trip but never got around to it. Carry on having a fab time, so envious

  2. Are the crisps with that big daddy burger meant to be crisps or have you asked for chips instead of asking for fries and that’s what happened ?

    1. Yeah, they were called Badland Chips… So I thought they might be good. Pretty much crisps on the side!
